Practice Relating to Rule 50. Destruction and Seizure of Property of an Adversary
Guinea’s Soldier’s Manual (2010) states: “Limit destruction to what your mission requires.”
Under the heading “Civilians”, the manual also states: “Respect their property; do not damage … it.”
Guinea’s Disciplinary Regulations (2012) states: “Military personnel in combat are prohibited from … engaging in any needless destruction and any pillaging, especially of private property”.
