Convention (VIII) relative to the Laying of Automatic Submarine Contact Mines. The Hague, 18 October 1907.
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Reservation made at signature and maintained at ratification :
Subject to the following statement :
"By signing this Convention the British Plenipotentiaries declare that the only fact that said Convention does not prohibit such a deed or such a proceeding must not be considered as depriving the Government of His Majesty of the right to contest the legality of said deed or proceeding."
