Summary
Adopted in order to ensure full cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), this law gives the French courts jurisdiction to prosecute any person found on French territory and alleged to have committed crimes covered by the Statute of the ICTY, provides for the possible transfer of such cases to the ICTY, and spells out the terms of judicial cooperation between the French judicial system and the ICTY.
