Internal Security (General) Act, Act No. 24, 1984
Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to internal security in Lesotho

This Act defines subversive activities, sabotage and unlawful organisations. It includes some counter terrorism measures. Part IV outlines offences against public safety and order and the penalties that follow. The Act also deals in part with dangerous weapons and explosives, pursuant to Part VI the manufacture or possession of dangerous weapons, incendiary, corrosive or explosive devices or substances is an offence unless lawfully permitted. Section 55 permits authorities to search and enter premises without a warrant if they suspect that dangerous weapons or explosives are on the premises.
